Space Station Echo

This might be Mutuality Space Station Echo. All the drawing was done with pencil on graph paper, and I added the background with PSP.

On the far right is the docking bay, with docking rings around the edges for starships too large for the bay. Though the bay has two doors on top of it, if a ship is small enough, only one needs to open. The circular part in the center is the original Renegade station, of higher quality than all the additions. The large round module in the upper left is the part where people live. They also live in the small modules attached to the outer ring of the main station. The main starship facilities (mail, repair & rearm, trading, and supply) are attached to docking assembly between the docking bay and the main station. Below the station are solar energy collection and communication arrays, and whatever else, pointing toward a source somewhere to the northwest. The shadows are like you'd find in an atmosphere, not so stark as in space. I thought it looked better that way. Oh yeah, and there are two little chainguns on the corners of the docking bay.

It's probably not a very practical station design, and really I do not know how atmosphere is contained in that docking bay, but oh well. It's a game.

It was pretty fun to do something like this for a change.
